I so wish it weren't just saying No to cake or other treats, diabetes has a lot of complexity to it, but I love you last phrase, "she will amaze you in ways you can't even imagine" that statement has so much hope in it, I love it!Jenni Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11485989716098390657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8458347888012799792.post-63934108270695213412014-03-07T08:46:59.977-08:002014-03-07T08:46:59.977-08:00There will be struggles, there is no denying that ...There will be struggles, there is no denying that but she absolutely will have a long, happy and healthy life. Yes, there is a learning curve and no, I don't envy having to tell a 4+ year old she can't have a piece of cake when everyone else can but she will learn and adapt and probably amaze you in ways you can't even imagine. <3 Christy https://www.blogger.com/profile/08001252581947151515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8458347888012799792.post-61983869952494279522014-03-07T02:13:05.317-08:002014-03-07T02:13:05.317-08:00Jen,

When I was 12, my body was ravaged by a bacteria infection, that then was followed by a secondary infection. I was in the hospital for a week at the last, and the only drug that could cure it, my body was resistant to. The doctors called my parents into the hall and told them they needed to say goodbye, that I wasn't going to make it. My mom's friend came, laid hands on me for hours, all thru the night - and by morning, life was returning to my body, the infection was gone and the doctors were baffled. But I wasn't...we serve a God of Miracles - and I am living proof.
God can beat this. I will pray for a Miracle too. I believe God has big plans for her!
Sending you love and prayers!Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03171732564550510325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8458347888012799792.post-19363602672633474762014-03-06T20:29:33.269-08:002014-03-06T20:29:33.269-08:00Our God is bigger than diabetes.
