It's in the wind
and the smell outside
and it's in the slightest way the sun has changed
I enjoy the Fall season, but slightly cringe at the start of it, only because it means those hot summer days are over and those bone chilling days are around the corner. I might say Fall is my favorite season if it didn't precede Winter, I just might.
This Fall is a very different season for me.
The season of only having 2 kids at home most of the day. A boy and a girl.
Seriously, who would have thought I would have that dynamic? And now that I'm not being called by the school nurse daily I'm trying to enjoy these 2 littles and soaking up their moments and doing some special things with them.
We got to enjoy a day at the Happy Apple Farm with some friends, it was like a vacation with only 2 kids, I mean seriously 2 kids, who would have ever thought I would consider that a vacation?!?
one of my favorite pics of Levi, ever, I mean those Overalls on a farm...... melting
My Friend Ashley is the best, she seriously treats and loves me kids like they are her own, she picks them up when they cry and comforts them when they are upset, love her.
There is so much great berry picking at the Apple Farm!
It's probably a little more fun to actually be involved in the picking...
Sarah's BFF, they could both live off of berries and fruit. One day I caught them sitting by each other with the fridge door wide open gorging berries together.
Trust me, she loved it!
my boy.... again melting
Check out the flying Apple
Sarah in a nutshell, "delightful"
Brother and sister. their relationship is so sweet
, I love this photo bc it shows something I never pictured
To be honest the first time I went to the Happy Apple Farm I was unimpressed and just compared it to the magnificent Apple Hill in Northern California. But this time..... I just really enjoyed it, it was beautiful, simple and perfect! I even want to go back!
If the pool was open, I'm pretty sure Fall would be my favorite season
