On our trip to Houston Aunt Cynthia said she had a surprise coming for the girls. Now mind you, Cynthia only has 2 boys of her own, no girls, but she does have 5 nieces! Oh and don't forget Cynthia is one pretty awesome Aunt. And no, the surprise wasn't the bounce house she ordered for the back yard (although that was awesome too).
It was a Pink Limo ride and little girl makeovers at Sweet & Sassy!!
Seriously. My first time in a limo was on my 30th birthday, now my 1, 3 & 4 year old girls got their first ride in a PINK limo as toddlers, dream come true (maybe more for me than them :O))!
They were so delighted and excited

And for Norah, this is her heart!
I know she loves snakes and bugs, but she is a princess girl. She loves pink, spinning dresses, makeup, doing hair and loves getting her nails done. She refuses to wear pants, and would wear only dresses that spin on a daily basis if I allowed it. Norah even wants to be a hair dresser when she grows up, so this event that aunt Cynthia planned was made for her!
In fact, I have never seen Norah sit so still or wait so patiently for her turn to get her hair done, it was really sweet.

Of course, Maya loved it too (and Sarah). But it was so special to see what seemed like "a dream come true" for Norah.

What a special and very fun time !
I am so thankful and glad that Brett's side of the family gets to know Norah now and at the same time I am so glad that Norah gets to know them. It just seems like a gift in the midst of brokenness.
Thank you so much Aunt Cynthia for making Norah's dreams come true and treating my girls to such a special day! You are the best!

ReplyDeleteI can only agree! Those little girls are lucky to be able to ride a limo at their young age. What's more is that they rode a pink limo. If I were them, I would make a music video mimicking Hollywood stars while inside the limo. :)

They’re lucky to have such a sweet and generous Aunt Cynthia! How I wish she’s my aunt too. ^.~ It’s obvious the girls loved and enjoyed the whole thing. The salon is impressive to have a limousine pick-up its little, adorable clients. It’s a good gimmick!
